A Description of Floor Cloths Floor cloths were the precursor to the linoleum floor coverings we use today. Common throughout the 18th and 19th century, I am offering these reproductions made with patterns taken from originals in the New England area. I use 8-10 oz canvas painted on both sides as were the factory produced floor cloths. The patterns are hand painted and available in custom colors. I offer most patterns in a standard 4’x6’ size, but custom sizes are available up to a 6’ width. See individual pattern descriptions |
